Transfer news:
Just one this week- with midfielder Steven Lustica seeing his Hajduk Split contract terminated, and returning home to play for Adelaide United.

Europe:
Netherlands:
Eredivise:
Tommy Oar and Adam Sarota (FC Utrecht)

11th in Dutch Eredivise (After 6 rounds)
Oar started, however he was replaced after 65 minutes. Sarota is still recovering from a knee injury. They travel to Feyenoord next weekend.

Stef Nijland (PEC Zwolle)
Ajax 2-1 PEC Zwolle
1st in Dutch Eredivise (After 6 rounds)
Nijland started on the left side of a front 3 as the surprise league leaders lost away to Ajax. Nijland was subbed after 72’ minutes, and received a booking around the hour mark. They’ll try to bounce back from their first defeat of the season away to Vitesse next weekend.

Germany:
Robbie Kruse (Bayer Leverkusen)

3rd in German Bundesliga (After 5 rounds)
Robbie came off the bench late in the game once again and is still waiting to make his stating debut for his new side. They’re heading to Old Trafford to face English champions Manchester United in the Champions League on Wednesday Morning Australian time, and they’ll back up with an away trip to Mainz next weekend. Robbie could become the 1st ex-Roar player to play in the Champions League if he gets on, so good luck to him.

Ben Halloran (Fortuna Düsseldorf)

Ben was an unused sub once again this week and seems to be struggling slightly to break into his new clubs line-up. He’ll get another chance next weekend when they travel to St. Pauli.

Switzerland:
Dario Vidosic (FC Sion)

Swiss Schweitzer Cup.
Dario provided the assist for the only goal of the game. Back to league action next Monday with a home game against Basel.

Cyprus:
Issey Nakajima-Farran (Alki Larnaca)

They’re due to face Ermis overnight in their 2nd game of the league season.

Romania:
Michael Baird (FC Universitatea Craiova)

Universitatea Craiova 0-0 CS U Craiova.
9th in Romanian Liga II table (After 2 rounds)
Baird made his debut for the club for a 2nd time, and played a full 90 minutes. They’ll travel Minerul Motru next weekend.

Yuji Takahashi (Kyoto Sanga)

6th in J.2 League (After 33 rounds)
No Takahashi in the squad again. As the season nears its conclusion, they find themselves in the final promotion play-off place.

Do Dong-Hyun (FC Gifu)

22nd in J.2 League (After 33 rounds)
Dong-Hyun wasn’t involved in the squad. They’ll travel to Gainare Tottori next as they try and avoid relegation. Currently they sit equal bottom on 28pts, and next week’s match could be pivotal.

China:

Erik started and played the full 90 minutes, picking up a yellow card in the 50th min. They’ll host Beijing Guo’an next weekend. The win moves them 4 points clear of the relegation zone.

Korean Republic:

No game this weekend due to Korean FA Cup Semi-Finals.

Thailand:
Rocky Visconte (Suphanburi F.C.)

Rocky is currently out injured with a knee injury. They’re due to travel to TOT SC next weekend.

Indonesia:
Sergio van Djik (Persib)

Persiwa 2-3 Persib.
4th in Indonesian Super League (After 34 rounds)
Sergio started both games, playing 90 minutes. No goals however. I believe this was the final round of the Indonesian Super League for the year. Sergio finished with 21 goals from 29 appearances in his first season in his adopted homeland.

Susak made his competitive debut for his new club as the left sided centre-back in a 4-5-1 formation and played the full 90 minutes. He’s been given the #22 shirt for his new club. They’ll travel to Al Jazira next Sunday.

They’ll host Ajman next weekend. Alex is out with an injury atm.

Qatar:
Sasa Ognenovski (Umm Salal)

Sasa was sent off after 82’ minutes. He received a yellow after 66’, and received his marching orders 8minutes from time. They’ll travel to El Jaish next weekend, and probably without the suspended Ognenovski.

Sayed Mohamed Adnan (Al Arabi)

They’ll host Al Sailiya next weekend. Adnan started, and played the full 90 minutes.
