Oar started, however he was replaced on the hour. Sarota is still recovering from a knee injury. They host Den Bosch on Thursday in the Dutch Cup, before hosting Roda next Sunday in the league.

Stef Nijland (PEC Zwolle)

Nijland started on the left side of a front 3 and played the full 90 minutes. They host Fortuna Sitard in the cup on Thursday, before hosting NAC Breda in the league on Sunday.

Robbie Kruse (Bayer Leverkusen)

Robbie came on 15 minutes from time to become the first former Brisbane Roar player to play in Europe’s top football competition.

After making his Champions League debut midweek, Robbie mad his first start for his new side and boy did he make the most of it. Robbie scored twice (19’, 45+) and also got an assist for another before being substituted after 75 mins.

The busy schedule continues for Leverkusen, playing away to Armenia Bielefeld in the Pokal Cup on Wednesday before retuning home to take on Hannover 96 next weekend.

Alki remain winless and bottom of the league after a 4-0 thrashing by Anorthosis. Their next game is on Sunday against Apollon. Issey wasn’t in the squad.

Baird started the game – no goals- and was substituted after 71 minutes. They host Petrolul Ploiesti in the Romanian Cup on Thursday, before hosting Olt Slatina in the league on Sunday.

Dong-Hyun wasn’t involved in the squad. They host Matsumoto Yamaga on Sunday. Currently they sit in the promotion-relegation playoff position, 3 points clear of the automatic relegation position, and equal on points with automatic safety (-36 goal dif compared to -18 however)

Erik started and played the full 90 minutes. They travel to Guizhou Rehne next weekend.

After a disappointing season in the K-League resulting in a bottom half finish, Gyeongnam find themselves in the relegation half of the competition as the competition nears it’s conclusion. As things stand however, they’re 5 points clear of being relegated as the points earned to this point carry forward. Luke wasn’t in the match day squad this week once again, they host Seongnam on Saturday.

Their game against TOT has been postponed, their next game is away to 2nd placed Muang Thong United on Sunday.

They’re playing Central Coast Mariners in that cup competition tonight.

James made a scoring debut for his new club, netting their 2nd goal of the afternoon in the 52nd minute. James got through the full 90 minutes for his new side. They travel to Shillong Lajong next weekend.

Milan played the full 90 minutes in the centre of defence, picking up a yellow card in the 76th minute. He’s been given the #22 shirt for his new club. They’ll travel to Al Shabab next week.

They travel to Al Dhafra next Friday. Alex came off the bench after 71 minutes.

No Solórzano in the squad. They travel to Uruguay –the team not the country- on Thursday before hosting Limon on Monday.
